Soul Seekers members on the beach in Marbella at sunrise

How to meet people in Marbella

Marbella is an easy place to live and a hard place to land. People arrive for the weather and the work, and three months later still have nobody to call on a Tuesday. This is what we do about it.

Soul Seekers has met in Marbella since 2024. There are more than 1,000 of us now. Most of what we do happens outdoors and early: sunrise on the beach, hikes, workouts in the open air, breathwork.

You do not need to know anybody to come.

    What happens

Ten or eleven gatherings a month

    Sunrise Club

    Every Tuesday, 7:30 to 8:30

On the beach between Puerto Banus and the Golden Mile. Sunrise, breathwork, movement, and a dip in the sea.

    Social Workout

    Three Saturdays a month

A proper workout in the open air, with people who push you and make you laugh in equal measure.

    Hikes and nature

    Twice a month

Into the mountains or along the coast. The views are good. The company is better.

    Founders Meetup

    Monthly

For founders, builders, and anyone doing something they care about. Real conversations. No pitch decks.

    Wellness and ceremonies

    Through the month

Breathwork, sound healing, cacao ceremonies, temazcal. The deeper side of it, for when you are ready.

The weekly ones keep their place. Special events sometimes move, so check the calendar before you travel. Everything is listed there, and you book the same way everybody else does.

    Coming on your own

Sign up for the event. That is the whole first step. If you want to ask something before you come, message us on WhatsApp, Kenneth directly or any of the community groups.

Once you are there you will see what this place actually is: somewhere everyone belongs, and safe enough to start meeting people you recognise something of yourself in. That is the part we are most protective of.

Kenneth hosts Sunrise Club one Tuesday a month and co-hosts take the other weeks. If you want a face to look for, come on his.

    Beyond our own events

    Teachers and studios around town

A weekly class is the other way people find their footing here. The directory lists teachers and studios we have met, trained with or had vouched for, with what a first session is like and who it suits. Yoga, pilates, breathwork, sound.

    Other ways in

Things to try that have nothing to do with us

Nobody builds a life out of one community. These are the other routes people here take, and the ones worth your first month.

    A padel club

Padel is the social sport here. Clubs run open games where they put four strangers on a court, which does most of the work for you.

    A run club

Find one with a fixed weekly meeting point and time. The fixed part matters more than the running.

    A coworking space

Worth paying for only if people actually talk to each other. Visit at lunch before you commit and see whether anybody is in the kitchen.

    A language exchange

Spanish practice is the excuse. An evening of talking to strangers who are also there to talk to strangers is the point.

    La Concha

The mountain above the town. People walk it in groups at the weekend, and it is the local rite of passage.

    What it costs

Turning up is not a membership. Events are listed on the calendar with their own price, and plenty are free.

Membership is for people who want to go deeper: 25 euro a month for The Seeker, with member prices on events and deals at around 20 partner places around Marbella.
